Abstract
"CéLULA ELETROLìTICA COM CANAL INTERNO". A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo eletrolítico para a produção de um gás halogênio de uma solução aquosa de haletos alcalinos em células de eletrólise do tipo-placa montadas e dispostas lado a lado, com contatos elétricos, cada uma das células com um compartimento dotado de duas semiconchas (1, 2) feitas de um material condutor, o dito compartimento dotado com dispositivos para alimentar a corrente e fluídos de alimentação de eletrólise e dispositivos para descarregar a corrente e os produtos de eletrólise, com um eletrodo anódico (4), um eletrodo catódico (5) e uma membrana interposta entre os mesmos; sendo que através de componentes internos (7, 12) em ao menos uma das duas semiconchas há um aumento definido do nível de líquido e o volume de gás restante, é minimizado. Os componentes internos formam um canal interno que é paralelo à membrana e posicionado horizontalmente, formando assim um interrespaço (9, 14) entre o canal e a membrana eletrolítica e um outro interrespaço (10, 15) entre o canal e o lado superior do compartimento de eletrólise, parte do qual é posicionado acima da membrana eletrolítica, o dito canal tendo ao menos uma abertura de comunicação com o interrespaço entre o dito canal e a parte superior do compartimento eletrólico e o canal dirigi-se a ao menos uma saída.
