Abstract
"ALOJAMENTO DISPOSTO EM UM SISTEMA DE GáS DE ESCAPE PARA UM MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO". A presente invenção se refere a um dispositivo conversor para ser disposto em um sistema de escape para um motor de combustão. O dispositivo conversor compreende um invólucro (1) externo, um corpo (4) tubular o qual é encerrado pelo invólucro (1), e uma passagem para conduzir os gases de escape através do dispositivo conversor. A passagem compreende uma primeira parte (17a) situada externamente em torno do corpo tubular (4), uma segunda parte (17b) situada dentro do corpo tubular (4) e uma terceira parte (17c) a qual provê no sentido de que o fluxo dos gases de escape ocorra em uma direção radial entre a primeira parte (17a) e a segunda parte (17b) da passagem. A terceira parte compreende pelo menos um caminho (13a, b) de fluxo o qual proporciona gases de escape com uma rota de fluxo mais longa do que um fluxo radial substancialmente retilíneo entre a primeira parte (17a) externamente situada e a segunda parte (17b) internamente situada da passagem.
