Abstract

"SISTEMA DE IDENTIFICAçãO". A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema de identificação baseado em cartão inclui um ou mais terminais (40), que podem se comunicar com uma base de dados em um servidor. Cada terminal pode receber um cartão e inclui meio de computação que pode gerar um identificador impessoal de cartão. O terminal inclui um dispositivo de entrada (20) que pode ser operado por um usuário para introduzir um grupo de caracteres conhecidos apenas pelo usuário,. O dispositivo de entrada inclui uma pluralidade de zonas (27), cada uma das quais é operável por um usuário para introduzir um caractere. As zonas são dispostas de modo que o caractere com que cada zona é associada muda randomicamente a cada vez que um cartão é recebido. Também as zonas (27) são dispostas de modo que os caracteres que com elas estão associadas são visíveis apenas dentro de um ângulo de visão restrito. O terminal cria um identificador impessoal de usuário do caracteres de entrada e esses são transmitidos com identificador impessoal de cartão para a base de dados para registro ou comparação com dados armazenados. Os dados transmitidos, de preferência, estão na forma numérica.
