Abstract
"IMPRESSãO A JATO DE TINTA USANDO-SE PIXéIS ALONGADOS". Uma impressora a jato de tinta, ou outra impressora, serve para imprimir cada linha de pixéis de entrada, duas linhas sobrepostas de 'super pixéis' contíguos, cada pixel de impressão sendo capaz de receber contribuições de impressão de N super pixéis. Os super pixéis têm duas vezes a largura dos pixéis de entrada e uma linha de super pixéis é compensada em metade da largura de um super pixel a partir da próxima linha de super pixéis. Redundância, assim, é proporcionada contra a perda de um elemento de impressão. Os efeitos de uniformidade de uma imagem são reduzidos por processos de intensificação de bordas.
