Abstract
"FIO DE VIDRO, COMPOSIçãO DE ENCOLAMENTO, COMPóSITO E UTILIZAçãO DO FIO DE VIDRO". A invenção refere-se a uma composição de encolamento que consiste de uma solução compreendendo menos 5% em peso de solvente e um sistema de base polimerizável, sendo que referido sistema contém pelo menos 50% em peso de componentes de uma mistura de: componente(s) apresentando pelo menos uma função reativa isocianato; componente(s) apresentando pelo menos uma função reativa hidróxi; e, opcionalmente, componente(s) apresentando pelo menos uma função reativa amina. A invenção refere-se também o fios de vidro que são recobertas com a composição de encolamento previamente indicada. Os fios de vidro assim obtidas podem ser usadas para reforçar materiais orgânicos ou inorgânicos."GLASS THREAD, SENSING COMPOSITION, COMPOSITION AND USE OF GLASS THREAD". The invention relates to a sizing composition consisting of a solution comprising at least 5 wt% solvent and a polymerizable base system, said system containing at least 50 wt% components of a mixture of: component ( s) having at least one isocyanate reactive function; component (s) having at least one hydroxy reactive function; and optionally component (s) having at least one amine reactive function. The invention also relates to glass strands which are coated with the above-stated sizing composition. The glass threads thus obtained can be used to reinforce organic or inorganic materials.
