Abstract

"APARELHO DE DILUIçãO PARA UM ESPESSADOR". A presente invenção se refere a um aparelho de diluição para um espessador do tipo possuindo um tanque de espessamento e um poço de alimentação disposto a montante do tanque de espessamento para receber líquido de alimentação. Em concordância com a presente invenção, o referido espessador inclui um tanque de espessamento, um poço de alimentação, um aparelho de diluição como mencionado anteriormente e uma bomba submersível. A presente invenção igualmente se refere a um método de diluição de líquido de alimentação em um espessador do tipo mencionado anteriormente. A presente invenção está caracterizada pelo fato de que proporciona uma bomba de fluxo axial (1) para precisamente injetar líquido sobrenadante (2) a partir das adjacências da superfície de líquido (3) de um tanque de espessamento (não mostrado) para diluir líquido em um poço de alimentação (4). A bomba (1) inclui um vaso de recepção configurado em taça (5) submerso no líquido sobrenadante (2). A bomba (1) também inclui um propulsor submerso (6) montado sobre um eixo rotativo (7) para retirar líquido a partir do vaso de recepção (5) e injetar o líquido para o poço de alimentação (4). O eixo rotativo (7) é tracionado por um motor e uma caixa de câmbio (de transmissão) associada (não mostrados). A bomba (1) é responsiva (reage) aos parâmetros de sistema para ajustamento da taxa de fluxo do líquido sobrenadante (2).
