Abstract

"SISTEMA DE ISOLAMENTO DE LINHA DE FLUXO". é descrito um método de controlar as propriedades de transferência de calor de um conduto submarino tendo paredes interna e externa 800, 802) e um espaço permeável a gás (804) entre as paredes fornecendo isolamento térmico. O método compreende variar a pressão de um gás dentro do espaço entre os valores acima e abaixo de uma faixa de pressão crítica na qual a condutividade térmica do gás exibe uma alta taxa de mudança. As conexões de gás (808, 810) e as válvulas de controle (812, 814/816) pode ser desenhadas para permitir uma faixa de seq³ências de operação, por exemplo sob controle de uma veículo operado remotamente (ROV). (Figura 5)
