Novo processo para tratamento de superfícies metálicas com objetivo de aumentar a sua dureza, resistência à corrosão, fadiga e desgaste, utilizando um plasma pulsado ou não de nitrogênio e deutério em proporciones adequadas ao perfil de dureza desejado, do metal a tratar e do nível de oxigênio residual do equipamento utilizado.
