Abstract
"NúCLEO DE AREIA REVESTIDO DE GELATINA E MéTODO DE PRODUçãO DO MESMO". A presente invenção refere-se a um método de produção de um produto moldado para uso em um processo de lingotamento, em que partículas de areia são misturadas com proteínas e água para efetuar um revestimento de proteína nas partículas de areia. Então, as partículas de areia revestidas de proteína são secadas e sopradas em um molde padrão para formar um produto moldado sem resfriamento ativo das partículas de areia revestidas. é então passado vapor através do produto moldado para hidratar e fundir a proteína, formando assim ligações entre as partículas contíguas de areia. Finalmente, ar quente e seco é passado através do produto moldado para endurecer as ligações de proteína entre as partículas contíguas de areia. Isto forma um núcleo de areia revestido de proteína para uso no lingotamento de metais fundidos.
