Such compounds provide excellent, economical and beneficial protection from ultraviolet exposure within a variety of media, including, but not limited to, clear whites. The compounds, in particular, are generally polymeric in nature, including various lengths of polyoxyalkylene chains thereon, and are liquid in nature to facilitate manipulation and introduction into the target medium. In addition, such ultraviolet absorbers also exhibit extremely low migration properties, thus providing long term protection benefits to the target medium as well. The invention also concerns end products, specifically broadly defined types of compounds which provide such beneficial characteristics, methods of manufacturing such low color intensity compounds and methods of producing such ultraviolet protected light end products.
