Abstract
"DISPOSIçãO DE ANODO PARA USO EM UMA CéLULA DE ELETRóLISE". More specifically, it refers to anode enhancements useful for retrofitting existing electrolysis cells, in which the anodes remain inert during operation. The anode is characterized in that it is configured in such a way as to increase the area of the electroactive surface. Several examples of such drawings are shown. The anode is useful for use in retrofitting existing electrolysis cells from the Hall-HÞroult design for aluminum production.
