Abstract

"COMPOSIçõES E, MéTODOS PARA A PREVENçãO E TRATAMENTO DE CâNCER HUMANO DA PRóSTATA". A invenção provê uma composição e método para a prevenção ou tratamento de carcinoma de próstata em mamíferos utilizando Vitamina E ou derivados de vitamina E ou análogos de Vitamina E e selênio ou sal de selênio ou derivado de selênio em uma forma combinada ou não combinada, individualmente ou em combinação com terapias tradicionais. A invenção também provê uma composição e método para a prevenção ou tratamento de carcinoma de próstata em mamíferos utilizando Vitamina E ou derivados de Vitamina E ou análogos de Vitamina E e selênio ou sal de selênio ou derivados de selênio em uma forma combinada ou não combinada, individualmente ou em combinação com terapias tradicionais para aumentar os níveis de p21 e/ou p27 intracelulares.
