Abstract
"APARELHO E MéTODO PARA FUNDIçãO DE METAIS". A invenção apresenta um aparelho (10) e um método de reduzir o volume de masselotes, e para a possibilidade de reduzir o rechupe e a porosidade em peças fundidas conformadas produto de fundição por gravidade. A invenção proporciona um aparelho (10) para produzir fluxo/agito no metal líquido (31), o aparelho (10) compreendendo pelo menos um eletrodo (16) para formar um arco de plasma continuamente móvel (34) sobre a superfície superior de masselotes (12) selecionados na peça metálica sendo vazada; um suporte (36) para suspender o eletrodo de arco de plasma (1) sobre a superfície superior dos masselotes (12) durante o Método para fundição, um segundo eletrodo (28) afixável ao metal líquido (31) ou ao metal sendo usado para fundição e uma fonte de alimentação de energia (36) para completar um circuito elétrico incluindo o arco de plasma (34), e dispositivos de controle (38) conectados entre o aparelho (10) e a fonte de alimentação elétrica (36).
