"PROCESSO CATALìTICO PARA TRANSFORMAçãO DE ALQUILADOS PESADOS EM LINEAR ALQUIL BENZENO E UTILIZAçãO DE CATALISADORES SóLIDOS áCIDOS. A presente invenção está de um modo geral relacionada ao processo para transformar alquilados pesados, com cadeias alquílicas maiores que C~ 6~, oriundos do processo de alquilação de benzeno com olefinas de cadeia longa, em compostos aromáticos monoalquilados e à utilização de catalisadores nesse processo. O processo descrito na presente invenção é um processo catalítico, apresentando as faixas de condições ótimas de reação em termos de temperatura, pressão, tempo espacial e concentração dos reagentes, para a transformação eficiente de polialquilados, subprodutos do processo de produção de linear monoalquilbenzenos, em novos compostos aromáticos monoalquilados. A presente invenção diz respeito também à utilização de catalisadores sólidos à base de sítios ácidos no processo para transformar alquilados pesados, com cadeias alquílicas maiores que 6, oriundos do processo de alquilação de benzeno com olefinas de cadeia longa (C~ 10~-C~ 14~), em compostos aromáticos monoalquilados. Esse catalisador é eficiente e seletivo para a geração de mais linear monoalquilbenzenos a partir dos subprodutos polialquilados.
