Abstract
"MéTODO DE DIMENSIONAMENTO DE UM TUBO CINGIDO". Método para dimensionar um tubo cingido projetado para carregar um fluído sob pressão. O tubo cingido consiste em tubo de metal e de um elemento de reforço enrolado em torno do tubo de metal, de modo a cingir o tubo. Em um primeiro estágio, o método consiste em determinar, de acordo com uma primeira série de critérios, as características do tubo de metal sem o reforço do cingimento que é enrolado em torno do mesmo na extremidade do processo de fabricação. A primeira série de critérios inclui a resistência a todas as tensões mecânicas aplicadas ao tubo cingido, isto é, tensões compressivas, de curvatura, de retração e de tensão, com exceção das tensões radiais devidas à pressão interna. Em um segundo estágio, o método consiste em determinar as características de cingimento, de modo a obter um determinado campo de pré-tensão do tubo cingido.
