Abstract
"DETECTOR DE DESGASTE DE CABO DE SUSPENSãO". Um detector de desgaste para um cabo de suspensão tendo uma pluralidade de filamentos de suporte de carga cobertos por uma bainha, inclui um sensor em uma superfície da bainha. O sensor detecta uma característica da corda representando uma quantidade predeterminada de desgaste da bainha. A característica detectada pode ser um contato elétrico com os filamentos, uma distância a partir da superfície da bainha até os filamentos, ou uma mudança de cor da superfície da bainha.
