Abstract

"MéTODO COMPUTACIONAL PARA A MEDIAçãO DE DISCUSSõES ASSìNCRONAS à DISTâNCIA". FOR MEDIATION OF DISTANCE-LIKE DISCUSSIONS". Intended to mediate asynchronous discussions at a distance by reducing or eliminating the human labor required for driving and articulating. Collective discussion is organized in the form of a discussion tree, where nodes represent argumentative interactions between participants. The method consists in launching a set of debate questions and involving participants in successive discussion cycles, through which the discussion is intentionally articulated and without human intervention. The articulation of the discussion is based on specific algorithms that analyze the discussion tree in search of potential interactions that can enhance the discussion and propose new interactions between the group. Participants answer questions and argue about their colleagues' propositions through discussion sheets, which can be accessed via the Internet.
