Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA CONTROLE DE ORGANISMOS NOCIVOS EM CULTURAS DE PLANTAS ECONOMICAMENTE úTEIS". A invenção refere-se a um processo para controlar organismos nocivos em plantas de milho modificadas por tecnologia genética, que contêm um gene derivado de Bacillus thuringiensis, que codifica e exprime uma proteína de eficácia inseticida, caracterizado pelo fato de que uma quantidade de eficácia inseticida de um ou mais compostos dos grupos (a) a (f) especificados mais detalhadamente na descrição são aplicados sobre as plantas, as sementes ou material de propagação das mesmas e/ou sobre a área de cultivo das mesmas: a) compostos organofosforados inseticidas, b) piretróides, c) carbamatos inseticidas, d) biopesticidas, e) reguladores de crescimento inseticidas, f) outros. O processo de acordo com a invenção possibilita uma quantidade de aplicação reduzida de pesticidas, que agem de modo sinérgico com as plantas transgênicas, bem como um aumento e ampliação da eficiência das plantas transgênicas e oferece, desse modo, vantagens económicas e ecológicas.
