Abstract

"PROCESSO E DISPOSITIVO DE REVESTIMENTO DE MODO CONTìNUO DE PELO MENOS UMA FACE DE UMA TIRA METáLICA COM UM FILME FLUIDO DE CAMADA úNICA OU DE CAMADAS MúLTIPLAS FEITO DE POLìMERO RETICULáVEL". A invenção tem como objeto um processo de revestimento de modo contínuo de pelo menos uma face de uma tira metálica com um filme (20) fluido de camada única ou de camadas múltiplas feito de polímero reticulável elaborado a partir de precursores sólidos na temperatura ambiente e isentos de solvente ou de diluente não reativo e cuja temperatura de amolecimento é superior a 50<198>C. O processo consiste em fazer a tira metálica (1) se deslocar de modo contínuo, em preaquecer essa tira metálica (1) a uma temperatura sensivelmente igual ou superior à temperatura de amolecimento desse polímero reticulável, em formar por escoamento forçado sobre um cilindro aplicador (12) de superfície deformável uma manta (13) de camada única ou de camadas múltiplas do dito polímero reticulável, em acionar em rotação o cilindro aplicador no mesmo sentido que o sentido de deslocamento da tira metálica (1), em aquecer o cilindro aplicador (12) a uma temperatura superior à temperatura de formação da manta e em transferir a dita manta para a tira metálica para formar o filme (20) de camada única ou de camadas múltiplas sobre a face correspondente da tira metálica (1). A invenção também tem como objeto um dispositivo de revestimento para a execução do processo.
