Abstract

"MéTODO E EQUIPAMENTO PARA O PROCESSAMENTO DE BITS INDICADORES DE PAGING TRANSMITIDOS EM UM CANAL DE PAGING RáPIDO". Técnicas para se processar dados transmitidos esporadicamente em momentos designados em um sistema de comunicação sem fio, tal como bits indicadores de paging (PI) no canal de paging rápido em cdma2000. Essas técnicas suportam um ciclo de inatividade que pode começar virtualmente a qualquer momento e possuindo uma duração de inatividade selecionada com base em um incremento de tempo fino. O incremento é selecionado de forma que os processadores de ramo (finger) e o combinador de símbolo de um receptor rake possam ser movidos facilmente para as posições adequadas depois da ativação a partir de uma inatividade. As técnicas também são fornecidas para alinhar a temporização do combinador de símbolo com a de um multipercurso particular no sinal recebido, caso necessário. Com essas técnicas, um terminal pode realizar uma inatividade entre um par de bits PI designados e pode se ativar e processar um único bit PI.
