No caso de um êmbolo construído com aparafusamento central e com uma câmara de resfriamento central, a resistência de corrente deve ser reduzida na área de entrada do óleo. Para essa finalidade, na área da cabeça do parafuso do aparafusamento central estão previstos meios para a recepção de óleo da biela na câmara de resfriamento central.
