Abstract
"FONTE SìSMICA E MéTODO DE OPERAçãO DA MESMA, MéTODO DE ELIMINAçãO DE FANTASMAS DE DADOS SìSMICOS, E ARRANJO DE PESQUISA SìSMICA MARINHA". Fonte sísmica marinha escalonada contém ambos arranjos, inferior e superior (10, 11), de emissores de energia sísmica (S11, S12e S21, S22). O arranjo superior (10) sendo horizontalmente deslocado em relação ao arranjo inferior (11) . A fonte é usada em um arranjo de pesquisa sísmica marinha tendo meios para movimentar a fonte e pelo menos um receptor sísmico. Em uso, a fonte se desloca na água em uma direção paralela, na qual os dois arranjos são dispostos. Os arranjos (10, 11) são disparados seq³encialmente, e o atraso de tempo entre o disparo do primeiro arranjo e o disparo do segundo arranjo é escolhido de modo que cada emissor sísmico em um arranjo seja disparado nas mesmas coordenas -x e -y que do correspondente emissor no outro arranjo. os campos de onda sísmicos gerados pelos disparos dos dois arranjos são gerados desta forma nas mesmas coordenadas -x e -y, mas em profundidades diferentes. Os dados sísmicos gravados no (s) receptor (es) resultantes do disparo do primeiro arranjo podem ser usados para eliminar fantasmas (de-ghosting) dos dados sísmicos adquiridos em conseq³ência do disparo do segundo arranjo ou vice-versa, assim eliminando ou reduzindo reflexões fantasmas ou reverberações"SYSTEM SOURCE AND OPERATION METHOD OF THE SAME, METHOD OF ELIMINATION OF PHYSICAL DATA PHANTOMS, AND MARINE SEISMIC RESEARCH ARRANGEMENT". Stepped marine seismic source contains both lower and upper arrangements (10, 11) of seismic energy emitters (S11, S12e S21, S22). The upper arrangement (10) being horizontally offset relative to the lower arrangement (11). The source is used in a marine seismic survey arrangement having means for moving the source and at least one seismic receiver. In use, the fountain moves in water in a parallel direction, in which the two arrangements are arranged. The arrangements (10, 11) are fired sequentially, and the time delay between firing the first array and firing the second array is chosen so that each seismic emitter in an array is fired at the same coordinates -x and -y as the corresponding emitter in the other arrangement. the seismic wave fields generated by the firing of the two arrays are thus generated at the same -x and -y coordinates, but at different depths. Seismic data recorded at the receiver (s) resulting from firing the first array can be used to eliminate de-ghosting from seismic data acquired as a result of firing the second array or vice versa, thereby eliminating or reducing reflections. ghosts or reverberations
