Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A REMOçãO DE ACETONA DE UMA MISTURA". Um processo para a remoção de acetona de uma mistura de acetato de metila, iodeto de metila e acetona inclui a etapa de remover uma corrente lateral da zona de destilação rica em acetona. Em uma modalidade preferida a mistura de acetato de metila, iodeto de metila e acetona é colocada em contato com água antes ou simultaneamente com a destilação fracional. O processo é particularmente aplicável para a remoção do subproduto de acetona em um processo de carbonilação para a produção de anidrido acético.
