Abstract

"FORMULAçõES ECTOPARASITICIDAS ORGâNICAS TóPICAS". This invention provides topical ectoparasiticidal formulations comprising an ectoparasiticide, preferably a pyrethroid or spinosyn, a dispersing agent which is a branched alkyl (C ~ 3 ~ -C ~ 6 ~) alkanoate (C ~ 10 ~ -C ~ 20 ~) preferably isopropyl myristate, and optionally a miscibility agent compatible with organic solvent systems, and methods of controlling an ectoparasite infestation in certain animals comprising topically applying such formulations to the animal.
