Abstract

"SISTEMA PARA GERENCIAMENTO DE ERROS DE INFORMAçõES ESPECìFICAS DE PROGRAMAS EM UM DECODIFICADOR DE VìDEO". Um sistema de processamento decodifica informações de programa compactadas, incluindo informações específicas de programas auxiliares, compreendendo tabelas de informações ordenadas hierarquicamente. As informações auxiliares são usadas na aquisição e decodificação de informações de programas compactadas, para proporcionar um programa de vídeo para exibição. O sistema de processamento emprega um método que envolve a detecção de uma correspondência entre um número de versão de uma primeira tabela das informações específicas de programas (por exemplo, uma tabela de canais virtuais - VCT - ou uma tabela de informações de canais CIT) e um número de versão correspondente da primeira tabela conduzido em uma segunda tabela (por exemplo, uma tabela de guia mestre - MGT) . Se uma correspondência é detectada, as primeira e segunda tabelas são forçadas a conter um número de versão da primeira tabela compatível. As informações de programas compactadas são decodificadas para proporcionar um programa de vídeo para exibição, usando as informações específicas de programas, incluindo as primeira e segunda tabelas, incluindo o número de versão forçado.
