Abstract
"ARTIGO". Um artigo que possui um primeiro membro formado de um primeiro metal e um segundo membro conectado ao primeiro membro em uma área de contato. O segundo membro é formado de um segundo metal que possui cinética de reação de redução e força de condução galvânica elevadas em relação ao primeiro membro, caracterizado pelo fato do segundo metal ser mais nobre que o primeiro metal. Um material para eliminar, substancialmente, o problema de corrosão galvânica pela redução da cinética de reação de redução do segundo metal na presença de um eletrólito é provido entre o primeiro e o segundo metais. Em um modo de realização preferido, o artigo é um trocador de calor em que o primeiro membro é um colar de aleta e o segundo membro um tubo, e o material para reduzir é um revestimento sobre o tubo que possui baixa cinética de reação de redução em relação ao cobre para reduzir atividade de corrosão entre o tubo e o colar de aleta.
