Abstract

"ELEMENTO FILTRANTE; UNIDADE DE CARTUCHO E MéTODO DE FORMAçãO DE UM ELEMENTO FILTRANTE". Um elemento filtrante (10) de acordo com a presente invenção inclui uma pluralidade de pregas estendendo-se longitudinalmente, as quais incluem pregas primárias (P) radiando-se para fora e pregas secundárias (s) radiando-se para dentro, sendo pelo menos uma prega secundária posicionada entre duas pregas primárias adjacentes. Cada prega primária (P) possui uma altura radial predeterminada (H), e cada prega secundária (s) possui uma altura radial (h) que é menor que a altura radial de cada prega primária e diferente da altura radial de pelo menos uma outra prega secundária. Um elemento filtrante (10) de acordo com a presente invenção provê maior área de filtração, uma densidade de filtração geral aumentada e acesso a mais caminhos de fluxo radial no diâmetro externo do elemento filtrante.
