A invenção refere-se ao uso de cis-1,4-poliisopreno sintético como um adesivo selável a frio. Uma camada 14 do adesivo selável a frio pode ser aplicada a substratos 10 e 12, que podem ser então ligados quando as camadas 14 são colocadas em contato.
