Abstract

''MéTODO DE FABRICAçãO DE UM PANO DE PRENSA POR MEIO DA FIXAçãO EM ESPIRAL DE UMA CAMADA DE TOPO DE LAMINADO COM UM ADESIVO TERMO-ATIVADO'' Trata-se de um método para a fabricação de um pano de prensa para uma máquina de papel inclui a fixação de uma tira de material de camada de topo de laminado à um pano de base usando-se um filme adesivo termo-ativado. O material de camada de topo de laminado pode ser um pano tecido, uma malha não tecida, ou um material de folha termoplástico, e, em qualquer caso, tem o filme adesivo termo-ativado ligado a um de seus dois lados. A tira de material de camada de topo de laminado e o filme adesivo termo-ativado juntos formam uma tira de componentes múltiplos, espirada sobre a superfície externa do pano de base, com o lado da tira de material de camada de topo de laminado tendo o filme adesivo termo-ativado contra a superfície externa, em uma espira fechada, e ligada ao mesmo com calor e pressão. The portions of the multi-component strip that overlap the side edges of the base cloth are then cut out, and a block of fibrous short-fiber material is trimmed inside and through the top laminate layer formed by the multi-component strip so as to to fix it firmly to the base cloth.
