Abstract

The packaging is used for the storage and shipment of optical information carriers. It is lightweight, simplified, can be easily made and contains an increased number of optical information carriers. The packaging with a chamber closed on two sides comprises first 3-dimensional body (1) containing upper (2) and lower (3) rim and side walls (4 and 5), forming an air chamber (10) in which a supporting plate (13) is fitted, with an optical information carrier (20) fitted in it, in the rear part (14) of which a T-shaped slide (16) is found fitted in a longitudinal opening (12), formed in the lower rim (3). In the front right-side or left-side angular part (25) of 3-dimensional body (1) an indented part (26) is machined, and in first left-side rear angular part (27) of supporting plate (13) a first left-side rear indented part (28) is formed. The packaging in the form of a one-wide closed chamber comprises a second 3-dimensional body (1a) containing upper (2) and lower (3) rim having smooth internal surface (7) and side wall (4) forming a one-side closed air chamber (10a) with a first intermediate supporting plate (13a) with optical information carrier (20) fitted in it, the upper (2) and lower (3) rim in their front right-side angular parts are interconnected by means of a pivotal connection (40). In the second left-side angular part (37) of the first intermediate supporting plate(13a) a second left-side rear indented par (38) is formed, and in the rear right-side angular part (35) of the second 3-dimensional body (1a) a rear indented part (36) is machined.
