Abstract
This method can be applied in machine-building more particularly for the production of coatings. The coatings feature a high adhesive strength. This method includes an application of a charge containing diamond powder over the surface of the metal and its sintering. The sintering of the charge takes place at a pressure of 10-50 MPs and excitation in the direction of charge-metal by pulse electric current with density of 0.3-1.5 kA/mm<2> at a coverage ratio 0.25-1.0. The charge used features specific electrical resistance 0.05x10<-6> to 0.3x10<-3> ω/m and has the following composition in vol.%: diamond powder 24 - 60 mould material with specific electrical resistance (0.014-1.7)x10<-6> ω/m to 100. The charge is applied by the distribution on a perforated element located on the metal surface and field with material with specific electrical resistance (0.14-1.7)x10<-6> ω/m.
