Abstract

The Hall device is applicable in the field of control/measuring technology, instrument building and geotechnology. It offers a simplified design, high resolution power and is designed according to integrated technologies. The Hall device comprises a semiconductor substrate (1) with extrinsic conductivity and two ohmic point contacts (2, 3) connected to an electric source (4). Two groups of two Hall contacts (5, 6, 7, 8) symmetrical to the current contacts (2, 3) represent the outputs of the device. Their long sides are parallel to the axis of symmetry of the current contacts (2, 3). All the contacts (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) are formed on one side of the substrate (1).
