Метод за получаване на натриева сол на nфосфонометилглицин, при който моларното съотношение на натриевия катион към киселинния анион е 1,5 до 1, характеризиращ се с това, че неутрализира nфосфонометилглицин с основа, съдържаща натрий, като количеството на основата е такова, че дава от 1,25 до 1,75 мола натрий на мол n-фосфонометилглицин. Патентните претенции са формулирани в 4 точки.
