Abstract

The rope bicycle is used as an individual transport vehicle.It is ridden by the passenger along the length of a rope supportedby spiral bearings at certain height above the terrain. Thebicycle consists of a transport wheel (1) lying on a stretchedrope (2) and resting on an axle (4). To axle (4) a suspended frame(5) with a seat (9) is engaged, and a chain transmissionconsisting of a driving sprocket (13) with pedals (15), chain (16)and driven sprocket (22) which is fitted to the transport wheel(1).
