Abstract

Appts. for rolling up and packing of e.g. carpets, and non-woven mats, comprises (a) means for bringing the article with one side edge thereof into an elongated slot in a tube or core and for imparting a rotary motion to this tube, (b) means for holding the product to be rolled up during rotation of the tube, (c) means for bringing and/or maintaining a packaging film into tubular form and for sliding the rolled-up piece off the tube or core and into the tubular packaging film, (d) a heat sealer for the packaging film.
