Abstract
De huidige uitvinding heeft betrekking op een werkwijze voor het produceren van een verbeterd hydrofoberingsmiddel voor de behandeling van buitenhout, omvattende de stappen van: (i) het voorzien en mengen van gedemineraliseerd water met een eerste grondstof tot een startmengsel; (ii) het mengen van dit startmengsel gedurende een eerste tijdsduur; (iii) het toevoegen van een tweede grondstof, bij voorkeur een was emulsie op basis van paraffine aan het startmengsel tot een tweede mengsel; (iv) het mengen van dit tweede mengsel gedurende een tweede tijdsduur; (v) het toevoegen van een derde grondstof, bij voorkeur een VOS-vrije siliconenhoudende ontschuimer tot een eindmengsel; (vi) het mengen van dit eindmengsel gedurende een derde tijdsduur; (vii) het afvullen van dit eindmengsel; waarbij de eerste tijdsduur tot de tweede tijdsduur een ratio heeft van minstens 1.9 en hoogstens 2.1 en waarbij de tweede tijdsduur tot een derde tijdsduur een ratio heeft van minstens 2.4 en hoogstens 2.6. De uitvinding heeft eveneens betrekking op een verbeterd hydrofoberingsmiddel voor de behandeling van buitenhout.The present invention relates to a method for producing an improved hydrophobizing agent for the treatment of exterior wood, comprising the steps of: (i) providing and mixing demineralized water with a first raw material to form a starting mixture; (ii) mixing this starting mixture for a first period of time; (iii) adding a second raw material, preferably a paraffin-based wax emulsion to the starting mixture to form a second mixture; (iv) mixing this second mixture for a second period of time; (v) adding a third raw material, preferably a VOC-free silicone-containing defoamer to form a final mixture; (vi) mixing this final mixture for a third period of time; (vii) filling this final mixture; wherein the first period of time to the second period of time has a ratio of at least 1.9 and at most 2.1 and wherein the second period of time to a third period of time has a ratio of at least 2.4 and at most 2.6. The invention also relates to an improved water-repellent agent for the treatment of outdoor wood.
