Brick Charcoal Rotisserie Oven .'he structure has been made from bricks and concrete. It has a chimney joined .o the exhaust to release the smoke produced from the coal fire. The spit frame has 6 spits or frames that spin around the spit frame. Each frame is made form stainless steel as well as the main spit. The structure is not welded directly to the firebox. It has been joined to the lateral sides of the brick oven. One of the spit endings joined to the lateral brick sides is connected to a chain that is also connected on the other end by a motor that moves the chain in a circular motion. That will make the spit to rotate and to make the six frames or spits to move around the main spit as well in a circular motion, The brick oven has been constructed using a double brick structure to be able to support a pyraridal ceiling structure that ends in a small chimney that will go over the top and will be connected to the exhaust duct on the roof.
I. This brick structure has been designed for the cooking of meat using a metal rotisserie installed inside this brick structure 2. Stainless steel box- where the coal is located instailcd underneath the rotissenc.
3. One of the main parts is the body 2.0 meters high 105 meters wide and 1.10 meters deep 4. The brick structure has a hole in the front where the stainless steel box is located at approx 0.9 meters from the floor where the rotisserie metal has been hooked up.
The rotisserie operates by electricity using an electric engine of 2 horse power and a gear box that slows down the speed of the rotisserie spits.
6. The 2nd main part of the structure is the chimney which is 2.2 meters high 0.45 meters deep and 0,45meters wide and it ends at approx 0.5 meters over the roof level making it easier the release of smoke from the cooking process.
Accordingly we claim a charcoal oven for cooking chicken and other meats comprising: A cooking chamber made of brick A brick chimney rising out of the top of the cooking chamber The cooking chamber comprising a base in which charcoal is placed in order to provide heat for cooking the chicken or other meat The oven further comprising a rotisserie mechanism including a plurality of parallel chicken or meat holding rods located above the base of the oven The rotisserie mechanism is attached to a motor by a chain and gear mechanism.
