Abstract

The invention relates to a latent heat body comprising a paraffin-based storage material accommodated in a carrier material provided with recesses, wherein the carrier material is composed of individual elements, wherein capillary-type recesses are provided for the latent heat storage material between the elements of said carrier material. According to the invention, the latent heat body can contain a plurality of defined latent heat bodies which can be surrounded by a common sheath and the latent heat body contains a microwave-active substance. The invention also relates to a corresponding production method for said bodies.
