The invention relates to arylsulfonamide substituted benzimidazole derivatives of general formula (I), wherein the radicals R<1>, R<2>, R<3> and R<4> are as cited in the claims and in the description, a method for the production thereof and the use of arylsulfonamide substituted benzimidazol derivatives as medicaments in particular as medicaments with tryptase-inhibiting activity.
