Field of the Invention The present invention is related to an apparatus for shaping a flange on a disk like satellite antenna, and especially to one which can wind the edge of a satellite antenna body to shape a flange.
2. Description of the Prior Art The disk like body A of a conventional satellite an- 10 tenna (as shown in Fig. 1) is pressed to form an L shaped flange Al during punching moulding, the redundant portion of the flange is cut away, the flange tip A2 after cutting is very sharp, moving or assembling operators may "still be in danger of being hurt even when the disk like body A has been surface processed or varnish baked, the flange Al of the conventional disk like body A is only set to an L shape, its structural strength and wind resistance is very weak, thus it can be depressed or damaged by inadvertent collision.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In view of this, the inventor of the present invention provides a disk like antenna for satellite communication based on his lengthy study, designing, developing and improving as well as thorough solving against the defect resided in the conventional satellite antenna, which novel antenna is structurally strong and not hurtful to the operators.
The primary object of the present invention is to pro -vide an apparatus for shaping a flange on a disk like satellite antenna. By means of such shaping apparatus, the flange on the disk like satellite antenna will not leave a sharp flange tip after being wound into the desired shape, and ,can have the effect of enhancing the structural strength and wind resistance, thereby, safety of operators can be secured.
The present invention will be apparent in its prac- 10 tical messures and functions after reading the detailed description of the preferred embodiment thereof in reference to the accompanying drawings.
"BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS In the drawings: 15 Fig. 1 is a schematic sectional side view of A conventional disk like antenna for a satellite; Fig. 2 is a schematic sectional side view of an embodiment of the shaping apparatus of a flange on the disk like antenna for a satellite of the present invention; Fig. 3 is a schematic sectional side view of a blank of the disk like antenna for a satellite before shaping by practising of the present invention (after multiple time of processing); Fig. 4 is a schematic sectional side view of an embodiment of the present invention when in shaping; Fig. 5 is a schematic sectional side view of the disk like antenna body of the present invention after shaping.
-2- DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT As shown in Fig. 2, wherein, a bottom die seat 1 of the present invention is formed to have centrally therepn a receiving table 11 in the form of a convex arc, a plurality of post guiding holes 12 are provided suitably on and around the external edge of the die seat 1.
Moreover, a top die housing 2 of the present invention is formed to have centrally thereon a groove 21 which is provided suitably with a plurality of bolt ho- 10 les 211, and a plurality of bolt holes 212 are provided on the external periphery of the groove 21 of the top die housing 2, a plurality of posts 22 are provided suitably on and, around the external edge of the top die housing 2, S. which posts 22 are inserted each with one end thereof into one of 'the post guiding holes 12 on the die seat 1.
Further, an upper pressing die 3 is provided movably by a plurality of bolt sleeves 31 beneath the bolt holes 211 in the groove 21 of the top die housing 2, the upper I* pressing die 3 is provided in the front thereof with a concaved arciform pressing end 32, and a plurality of compressive springs 33 are provided at the rear thereof for abutting against the inner surface of the groove 21 of the top die housing 2.
A shaping die 4 is fixedly secured over the bolt holes 212 provided on the external periphery of the groove 21 of the top die housing 2 by a plurality of bolts 41, -3which shaping die 4 is provided with a guiding arciform corner 42 on the inner side thereof and with an arc forming recess 43 at the middle height of this side.
By combination of the above mentioned members, when in shaping of the flange on the disk like satellite antenna (such as are shown in Fig. 2, a blank 5 of the disk like antenna is firstly placed on the receiving table 11 of the die seat 1, at this time, the flange 51 of the blank 5 is upright (such as is shown in Fig. and is lowered by pressing down of the top die housing 2, O when the top die housing 2 is moved down, the upper press -ing die 3 firstly presses against the blank 5, continu- .i ous lowering of the top die housing 2 will compress gradually the compressive springs 33 provided at the rear of 15 the upper pressing die 3, when the shaping die 4 approaches gradually the flange 51 of the blank 5, the guiding arciform corner 42 on, the inner side of the shaping die 4 will guide the flange 51 into the arc forming recess 43, during further continuous lowering of the shaping die 4, the flange 51 will be curved in pursuance of the shape of the arc forming recess 43 till it is wound into a "q" shape (such as is shown in Fig. then the top die housing 2 will be driven to be raised, and the compressive springs 33 will be gradually released respondently, when the top die housing 2 is raised to the top postion, the concaved arciform pressing end 32 of the upper pressing die 3 is kept a certain working space with the receiving table 11 of the bottom die seat 1, after the processed disk like antenna is taken out, the next blank 5 of a disk like antenna can be replaced for shaping.
Referring to Fig. 5, after the flange 51 of the disk like satellite antenna is wound by the apparatus of the present invention for shaping, not only no sharp edge will be formed, but also the structural strength and wind resistance thereof will be increased, in this way, safety 10 of the product of the satellite antenna and operators thereof can be secured.
In conclusion, the apparatus for shaping a flange on a disk like satellite antenna of the present invention is mainly to provide a structurally strong and safe satellite antenna, it not only eliminates the defect resided in the conventional disk like satellite antennae, but also is provided with novelty as well as industrial value of utility.
)aving thus described the technical structure of my invention with practicability and improveness, what I claim as new and desire to be secured by Letters Patent is:

Claims (1)

1. An apparatus for shaping a flange on a disk like satellite antenna, comprising: a bottom die seat, being formed to have centrally thereon a receiving table in the form of a convex arc, a plurality of post guiding holes being provided on and around the external edge thereof; a top die housing, being formed to have centrally thereon a groove which is provided with a plurality of. 10 bolt holes, a plurality of other bolt holes being provi- ded on the external periphery of said groove of said top die housing, a plurality of posts being provided on and S" around the external edge of said top die housing and be- ing inserted each with one end thereof into one of said 15 post guiding holes on said die seat; an upper pressing die, being provided movably by a plurality of bolt slqeves beneath said bolt holes in said groove of said top die housing, said upper pressing die 9 o being provided in the front thereof with a concaved arci- form pressing end, and a plurality of compressive springs being provided at the rear thereof for abutting against the inner surface of said groove of said top die housing; a shaping die, being fixedly secured over said bolt holes provided on the external periphery of said groove of said top die housing by a plurality of bolts, and being provided with a guiding arciform corner on the inner side thereof and with an arc forming recess at the middle height of this side; by combination of the above mentioned members, when in shaping of said flange on said disk like satelli- te antenna, a blank of said disk like antenna is firstly placed on said receiving table of said die seat, and is lowered by pressing down of said top die housing, when said top die housing is moved down, said upper pressing die firstly presses against said blank, continuous lower- 10 ing of said top die housing compresses gradually said .h compressive springs, said guiding arciform corner on the inner side of the shaping die guides said flange into said arc forming recess, during further continuous lower- ing of said shaping die, said flange is curved in pursuan 15 -ce of the shape of said arc forming recess.
