Abstract

A double-acting operating cylinder is disclosed, particularly useful for ventilating devices. The cylinder is of the positive-lock type with pneumatically operated piston locks at each end of the stroke. The locking device is designed in such a way that the working pressure is applied to the piston only after it has been unlocked.
