Abstract

The invention relates to a biogas fermenter with at least one decomposition tank (1) for manure, with a roof-like, supported protective cover (2), on the inside on which a gas-tight gas holder made of foil covers the decomposition tank (1) and is open towards it. The biogas fermenter also comprises a supply pipe (26), an extraction pipe (13), a manure pump (39), heating dampers (16) in the lower area of the tank wall (4) and stirrers (28, 29, 29') positioned in the decomposition tank (1), as well as pipes (47, 47') used to transport an energy carrier. A supporting column (11) taking the form of a pipe is positioned in the middle of the decomposition tank (1). At the upper end (18) of said column the outer protective cover (2) and the top end of the foil gas holder (3) are attached in a gas-proof manner. The lower end of the column (19) is anchored inside the decomposition tank (1), in particular on the floor (8) of said tank.
