Abstract

A carton and a carton blank constructed from paperboard or like foldable sheet material for enclosing one or more articles, for example a tray of foodstuff, comprising a plurality of wall panels for forming a tubular structure including top and base wall panels (16, 12, 20), opposed side wall panels (14, 18) and one or more end retention wall panels (22, 24) connected to one end of said top wall panel (16). The end retention wall panel (22) is connected to the base wall panel (20) by a corner arrangement (26). The corner arrangement (26) is so constructed and arranged to cause the end retention wall panel (22) to be secured in an erected position.
