Abstract

1. A paint based on an aqueous binder polymer dispersion containing a minor amount of an amino-containing polymer, which paint contains from 0.5 to 5% weight, based on the binder polymer, of a water-soluble N-vinylimidazole polymer containing, as copolymerized units, at least 10% by weight of N-vinylimidazole and no monomers having acid groups.
