Abstract

The invention relates to a lawn trimmer with various improvements which increase the operational reliability and reduce the risk of injury. The conduction of the suction air is improved by tapering the inlet opening in the direct proximity of the cutting device, while a second cutting tool (5) is provided underneath the first cutting tool (4) in order to increase mowing reliability. A novel torsion-free support device underneath the axis of rotation of the cutting tool improves the support of the trimmer on the lawn.
