Abstract

The invention relates to a method for receiving and processing information emitted from a central station to a plurality of non-defined subscribers by a terminal, whereby at least one receivable channel of the mobile radio network is selected from the terminal. The central station emits the information (broadcast messages, i.g. cell-broadcast) over said channel, whereby only one passive reception occurs at the terminal. The invention also relates to a terminal.
