Description

PIPE PRESSING TOOL [Technical Field]
The present invention relates to a pipe pressing tool, and more particularly to a pipe pressing tool for pressing outer peripheral surfaces of two pipes to compress the pipes .
[Background Art]
In general, a method of pressing and tightening various pipes for piping construction allows a simple and quick work and securement of stability such as watertightness and corrosion resistance of pipe joints, as compared with common connection methods using welding or threaded connection.
As an example of such a pressing and tightening method, a pipe pressing tool for pressing pipes by coupling upper parts of support shafts enclosing a joint of pipes facing each other and a fastener including a fixation shaft for fixation by a pressurizer, as proposed in Korean Patent No. 10-0685802, has been used.
However, when a work of tightening pipes by means of such a conventional pipe pressing tool after coupling of
2018274860 04 Dec 2018 beak-shaped integral balls of an upper part of a pressurizer body of the conventional pipe pressing tool with pressing grooves located at lower parts of a fastener thereof is repeated several times, the balls suffer wear, and thus, disadvantageously, the whole pressurizer needs to be replaced.
[Prior Art Document] [Patent Document] (Patent Document 0001) Korean Patent Application Publication No. 10-0685802 (published on February 15, 2007) [Disclosure] [Technical Problem]
Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and it is one object of the present invention to provide a pipe pressing tool, disassemblable/assemblable balls, not the entire fastener, of which are only replaced when the balls suffer wear due to a pipe pressing work that is performed using the pipe pressing tool assembled by coupling pressing grooves disposed at upper parts of a pressurizer with the balls of the fastener.
[Technical Solution]
2018274860 04 Dec 2018
In accordance with an aspect of the present invention, the above and other objects can be accomplished by the provision of a pipe pressing tool including a pipe fastener; and a pressurizer, wherein the pipe fastener is pressed by the pressurizer and includes a pair of support shafts that face each other and are integrally formed with rounded bodies and handles provided at lower parts of the rounded bodies; a fixation shaft fastened to an upper part of each of the support shafts; and inserts respectively fastened to inner surfaces of the support shafts, wherein grooves are formed at outer peripheral surfaces of the handles, and balls are fastened to the grooves.
The balls may have a dumbbell shape, and a bar of each of the balls is fixed by a fixing pin.
Insertion grooves of the pressurizer may be engaged with the balls fastened to the grooves of the handles, thereby pressing pipes.
The pressurizer may be rotatably coupled to fixation plates by hinge pins and include a pair of main blocks, wherein pressing grooves having a semicircular shape are respectively formed at ends of the main blocks.
[Advantageous effects]
As apparent from the fore-going, the present invention advantageously provides a pipe pressing tool,
2018274860 04 Dec 2018 disassemblable/assemblable balls, not the entire fastener, of which are only replaced when the balls suffer wear due to a pipe pressing work that is performed using the pipe pressing tool assembled by coupling pressing grooves disposed at upper parts of a pressurizer with the balls of the fastener.
[Description of Drawings]
FIG. 1 illustrates a plan view of a fastener of a pipe pressing tool according to the present invention.
FIG. 2 illustrates a plan view of a pressurizer of a pipe pressing tool according to the present invention.
[Best mode]
Now, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail so that those of ordinary skill in the art can easily carry out the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings. The present invention may be implemented in various different forms and is not limited to these embodiments. To clearly describe the present invention, a part not related to the description is omitted in the drawings, and the same or similar elements are designated with the same reference numbers in the entire specification .
Hereinafter, a pipe pressing tool according to an embodiment of the present invention is described in detail.
FIG. 1 illustrates a plan view of a fastener of a pipe pressing tool according to the present invention; and FIG. 2 illustrates a plan view of a pressurizer of a pipe pressing tool according to the present invention.
Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the pipe pressing tool according to the present invention includes a fastener 100 and a pressurizer 200.
The fastener 100 includes a pair of support shafts 10 facing each other; a fixation shaft 20 fastened to an upper part of each of the support shafts 10; and inserts respectively fastened to inner surfaces of the support shafts 10.
Here, the support shafts 10 are formed integrally with rounded bodies 11 and handles 12 provided at lower parts of the rounded bodies 11.
In addition, the fixation shaft 20 is coupled with upper parts of the rounded bodies 11 via the hinge pins 22, and the covers 40 are fixed and coupled to the rounded bodies 11 and the inserts 30 via the hinge pins 41, 42, and 43.
Grooves 13 are formed at outer peripheral surfaces of
the handles 12, and the balls 50 may be fastened to the
grooves 13. Here, the balls 5 0 may be
disassembled/assembled when worn . On the other hand, the
2018274860 04 Dec 2018 balls 50 may be fastened to grooves 13 formed at upper inner peripheral surfaces of main blocks 70 of the pressurizer 200 described below, and pressing grooves 71 may be formed at outer peripheral surfaces of the handles 12.
Here, the balls 50 may have a dumbbell shape, and a bar 51 of each of the balls 50 may be fixed by a fixing pin (not shown).
The fixation body 21 of the fixation shaft 20 is
rounded, and upper parts of the rounded bodies 11 of the
support shafts 10 are coupled to both sides, in a
longitudinal direction, of the fixation body 21 by the hinge pins 22.
In addition, when left and right lower parts of the fixation body 21 and upper parts of the inserts 30 are mutually coupled with each other by elastic members 31 to press pipes, the pipes can be effectively pressed.
When the pressing grooves 71 of the pressurizer 200 are engaged with the balls 50 inserted into and coupled to the grooves 13 of the handles 12 to press pipes, the pressing grooves 71 of the pressurizer 200 coupled to the balls 50 may be rotated 180 degrees to the left and right sides as well as a pipe joint may be processed in a vertically straight line. Accordingly, work efficiency can be improved.
Here, the pressurizer 200 is rotatably coupled to
2018274860 04 Dec 2018 fixation plates 60 by hinge pins 61 and includes a pair of main blocks 70, at ends of which the pressing grooves 71 having a semicircular shape are respectively formed. Here, the pressing grooves 71 of the pressurizer 200 may be coupled with the balls 50 of the fastener 100, thereby performing a pipe pressing work.
As mentioned above, when a pipe pressing work is performed several times after coupling the pressing grooves 71 of the pressurizer 200 to the balls 50 of the fastener 100 according to the present invention, and thus, the balls 50 are worn, only the disassemblable/assemblable balls 50 may be replaced. Accordingly, the pipe pressing tool according to the present invention is very economically efficient.
Although the present invention has been described in detail with reference to preferred embodiments thereof, those skilled in the art will appreciate that the scope of the present invention is not limited to the embodiments and various modifications and improvements by those skilled in the art using the basic concept of the present invention defined in the appended claims are also within the scope of the present invention.
