Description

The present invention relates to a waste bag and, more particularly, to a pet waste bag.
A conventional pet waste bag (or poop bag) is used to pick up and collect pet waste or excrement. When in use, the user's one hand extends into the interior of the pet waste bag and carries the pet waste bag to pick up the pet waste. After the pet waste is collected on the pet waste bag, the pet waste bag is folded reversely, so that the pet waste is encompassed in the pet waste bag.
Then, the user stretches and ties two comers of the pet waste bag to close the opening of the pet waste bag and to seal the pet waste in the pet waste bag.
However, it is difficult for the user to hold and tie the two comers of the pet waste bag, thereby causing inconvenience to the user when tying the two comers of the pet waste bag to close the opening of the pet waste bag. In addition, the user has to stretch and tie the two comers of the pet waste bag, so that the pet waste bag cannot be sealed easily and quickly, thereby wasting the time and energy.
In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a pet waste bag comprising a main body provided with a side seal strip and an opening opposite to the side seal strip. The main body has an interior defining a receiving space connected to the opening. The opening of the main body is provided with a binding stmcture. The binding structure includes a first binding section extending from the opening and a second binding section
2017201292 24 Feb 2017 extending from the opening. The first binding section and the second binding section of the binding structure bind together.
In accordance with the present invention, there is also provided a pet waste bag comprising a main body provided with a side seal strip and an opening opposite to the side seal strip. The main body has an interior defining a receiving space connected to the opening. The side seal strip of the main body is provided with a concave portion.
In the drawings:
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a pet waste bag in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
FIG. 2 is a schematic operational view showing usage of the pet waste bag in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
FIG 3 is a schematic operational view showing the pet waste bag being folded reversely.
FIG 4 is a schematic operational view showing the first tear line and the second tear line being tom away.
FIG 5 is a schematic operational view showing the first binding section and the second binding section are bound together.
Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS. 1 and 2, a pet waste bag 1 in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a main body 10 provided with a side seal strip 11 and an opening 12
2017201292 24 Feb 2017 opposite to the side seal strip 11. The main body 10 has an interior defining a receiving space 13 connected to the opening 12. The opening 12 of the main body 10 is provided with a binding structure 14. The binding structure 14 includes a first binding section 140 extending from the opening 12 and a second binding section 141 extending from the opening 12. The first binding section 140 and the second binding section 141 of the binding structure 14 bind together.
In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the binding structure 14 defines a first tear line 142 and a second tear line 143. The first tear line 142 of the binding structure 14 is formed transversely on the main body 10 and is adjacent and juxtaposed to the opening 12. The first tear line
142 of the binding structure 14 has two opposite ends disconnected from two opposite sides of the main body 10. The second tear line 143 of the binding structure 14 is formed on the main body 10 and is located between the first tear line 142 and the opening 12. The second tear line 143 of the binding structure has two opposite ends connected respectively to the first tear line 142 and the opening 12.
In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first tear line 142 and the second tear line 143 of the binding structure 14 are tom away to form the first binding section 140 and the second binding section 141.
In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the side seal strip 11 of the main body 10 is provided with a concave portion 110.
2017201292 24 Feb 2017
In operation, referring to FIGS. 2-5 with reference to FIG. 1, the opening 12 of the main body 10 is opened. Then, the user's one hand extends through the opening 12 of the main body 10 into the receiving space 13, with the user's palm aligning with the concave portion 110 on the side seal strip 11 as shown in FIG. 2, to pick up the pet waste. Thus, the concave portion 110 on the side seal strip 11 facilitates the user picking up and collecting the pet waste or excrement.
After the pet waste is collected in the concave portion 110, the main body 10 is folded reversely as shown in FIG. 3, so that the receiving space 13 is exposed outward, and the pet waste is encompassed by the main body 10 completely. Then, the first tear line 142 and the second tear line 143 of the binding structure 14 are in turn tom away to form the first binding section 140 and the second binding section 141 along the opening 12 of the main body 10 as shown in FIG. 4. Finally, the first binding section 140 and the second binding section 141 are bound together as shown in FIG. 5 to close the opening so as to seal the pet waste in the main body 10.
On the contrary, the first tear line 142 and the second tear line 143 of the binding structure 14 are in turn tom away to form the first binding section
140 and the second binding section 141 along the opening 12 of the main body
10. Then, the user's one hand extends through the opening 12 of the main body into the receiving space 13, with the user's palm aligning with the concave portion 110 on the side seal strip 11 to pick up the pet waste. Then, the main
2017201292 24 Feb 2017 body 10 is folded reversely, so that the receiving space 13 is exposed outward, and the pet waste is encompassed by the main body 10 completely. Finally, the first binding section 140 and the second binding section 141 are bound together to close the opening 12 so as to seal the pet waste in the main body 10.
In production, a plurality of pet waste bags 1 are connected serially.
When one of the pet waste bags 1 is tom away, the side seal strip 11 of one of the pet waste bags 1 is disconnected from the opening 12 of another one of the pet waste bags 1. Thus, each of the pet waste bags 1 is used individually.
Accordingly, the first binding section 140 and the second binding section 141 are bound together to close the opening 12 and to seal the pet waste in the main body 10, so that the user can seal the pet waste bag 1 easily and quickly, without having to stretch and tie two comers of the main body 10, thereby facilitating the user using and binding the pet waste bag 1. In addition, the first tear line 142 and the second tear line 143 are tom away to form the first binding section 140 and the second binding section 141, so that the first binding section 140 and the second binding section 141 are formed and used easily and conveniently, thereby facilitating the user holding and binding the first binding section 140 and the second binding section 141 to seal the pet waste bag 1.
The terms “comprise(s)” and “comprising” as used in the specification and claims mean “consisting at least in part of”, that is to say when interpreting statements in the specification and claims which include any
2017201292 24 Feb 2017 of those terms, the features, prefaced by any of those terms in each statement, all need to be present but other features can also be present.
Throughout the specification, unless the context requires otherwise, the word “comprise” or variations such as “comprises” or “comprising”, will be understood to imply the inclusion of a stated integer or group of integers but not the exclusion of any other integer or group of integers.
