Abstract
What makes the lid distinctive is the octagonal shape which is derived from having a square with its corners trimmed off. The way the corners are trimmed give off a triangle shape. All of the edges have a smooth rounded edge. The vertical walls of the lid are at an angle. The plastic base is in the same square shape as the lid. The step around the outer square of the base meets the lid at an elevated position. There is a circle within the square of the base which for the cake to sit in. There is a square rim all around the bottom which allows the base to be stacked perfectly onto the lid. This stackable rim also serves as the stand for the dome. The lid to be closed and locked quickly to the base.
