1A Assurance of originality for transport and storage containers for liquids
O
The invention concerns the assurance of originality for transport and storage containers for liquids with a replaceable inner container made from plastic material that stands on the bottom of a pallet-like base, the inner container having a filling socket and a discharge socket for the connection of a draining fitting, as 0 well as with an outside jacket from metal that can be constructed as a sheet metal or lattice jacket, to accommodate the inner container.
When transport and storage containers, used as multiple use container, of the Otype described in DE 202 18 766.7 Ul, are reconditioned, there is the danger that the original containers made from plastic material are replaced by containers with an inferior quality.
The object of the invention is to develop an assurance of originality for the generic transport and storage container for liquids, that prevents the exchange of the original plastic container with a container of another manufacturer.
According to the invention this objective is achieved by an assurance of originality having the features of patent claim 1.
The sub-claims contain advantageous and useful developments of the invention.
The assurance of originality according to the invention is characterised by a simple modus operandi and a cost-effective manufacture, that are based on the fact that the functional elements of the assurance of originality in the shape of protuberances in the bottom of the pallet-like base and corresponding indentations in the bottom of the inner container are formed directly on the components of the transport and storage container to be assured and thus no special components are required to assure the originality. Furthermore, by virtue of the protuberances in the bottom of the base, preferably made from sheet metal, the rigidity of same will be improved.
2 The invention is explained in the following based on figures of the drawing, 0illustrating the following: Fig. 1 a perspective illustration of a transport and storage container for liquids fitted with assurance of originality, and 00oo Fig.2 a perspective illustration of the flat tub-like bottom of the base of the \O container according to Fig.1.
The transport and storage container 1 for liquids, used as a single- and multiple- 0use container, has as its main components a replaceable parallelepiped-shaped inner container 2 from plastic material, with two lateral walls 3, 4, a front wall and a rear wall 6, a bottom and top end 7, 8, a filler socket 9 formed on the top end 8 that can be closed by a cover 10, and a discharge socket 11 with a draining valve 12 formed on the lower section of the front wall 5, furthermore with an outer lattice jacket 13 from intersecting horizontal and vertical metal grate rods 14, to accommodate the inner container 2, while the ends 16, 17 of the vertical lattice rods 15 are welded to a bottom and top continuous edge section 18, 19 of the lattice jacket 13, as well as with a pallet-like base 20 from metal having longitudinal and lateral dimensions in accordance with European standards.
The bottom end 7 of the inner container 2, constructed as a draining bottom, is fitted with a central draining trough 21 that falls from the rear wall 6 of the container towards the discharge socket 11 in the front wall 5 of the container and falls from both lateral walls 3, 4 towards the central draining trough 21 and from the rear wall 6 towards the front wall 5 of the inner container 2, said inner container standing with its bottom end 7 on the bottom 22 of the base 20, made from sheet metal and matching it.
The bottom 22 of the base 20, that is fitted to be handled by means of forklifts, shelf-storage equipment and similar transporting means, rests on four corner feet 23-26, a rear central foot 27, a front central foot 28 formed from the bottom 22 and provided below the draining fitting 12 of the transport container 1, as well as on two lateral central feet 29, 30, that are formed by the external ends of a 0 bridge-like reinforcing sheet metal for the bottom 22.
SThe bottom 22 of the base 20, having the shape of a tub and reinforced by inward pressed corrugations 32, 33 and matching the bottom end 7 of the inner container 3, falls from both longitudinal edges 34, 45 towards the longitudinal central axis 00 36-36 of the bottom and from the rear edge 37 of the bottom towards the front IND edge 38 of the bottom and has a central trough 39, that falls from the rear edge C' 37 of the bottom towards the front edge 38 of the bottom.
0The transport and storage container 1 is fitted with an assurance of originality, that is formed by two upwards directed protuberances 40, 41 of the bottom 22 of the base, which engage two corresponding depressions 42, 43 in the bottom end 7 of the inner container 2.
Both opposite situated protuberances 40, 41, extending from the longitudinal edges 34, 35 of the bottom 22 of the base transversely to the longitudinal central axis 36-36, are wedge-shaped and flatten out towards the longitudinal central axis 36-36 of the bottom 22 of the base.
The two depressions 42, 43 of the bottom end 7 of the inner container 2, which extend from the two lateral walls 3, 4 transversely to the draining trough 21 of the inner container 2, have corresponding wedge shapes.
In a manner different from the described embodiment of an assurance of originality, both protuberances 40, 41 of the bottom 22 of the base 20 and the corresponding depressions 42, 43 in the bottom end 7 of the inner container 2 can be arranged offset relative one another. There is the further possibility, that the protuberances 40, 41 of the bottom 22 of the base extend from the rear edge 37 of the bottom or the front edge 38 of the bottom parallel to the central axis 36- 36 of the bottom 22 and the bottom 7 of the inner container 2 has corresponding depressions 42, 43. In addition, the construction of the protuberances of the bottom of the base and of the depressions of the bottom of the inner container can be restricted to the bottom surface. Furthermore, the number of protuberances of the bottom of the base and the number of the depressions of 0the bottom end of the inner container is not limited to two. Finally, the assurance Sof originality is also suitable for transport and storage containers with an inner container that has a flat bottom end and stands on a correspondingly flat bottom of the base.

Claims (13)

1. Assurance of originality for transport and storage containers for liquids with a replaceable inner container made from plastic material that stands on the 00oO bottom of a pallet-like base, the inner container having a filling socket and a 3discharge socket for the connection of a draining fitting, as well as with an t outside jacket from metal that can be constructed as a sheet metal or lattice jacket, to accommodate the inner container, characterised in that the bottom of the base has at least one protuberance that engages a corresponding depression of the bottom end region of the inner container.
2. Assurance of originality according to claim 1, characterised in that the bottom of the base has at least one upwards directed protuberance, that engages a corresponding depression in the bottom end of the inner container.
3. Assurance of originality according to claim 1 and 2, characterised in that the protuberance(s) extend(s) from the longitudinal edges of the bottom of the base transversely to the longitudinal central axis of the bottom of the base.
4. Assurance of originality according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised by two opposite situated protuberances of the bottom of the base.
5. Assurance of originality according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised by two protuberances of the bottom of the base which are offset relative one another and corresponding depressions of the bottom end of the inner container.
6. Assurance of originality according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the protuberances of the bottom of the base are wedge-shaped and flatten out towards the longitudinal central axis of the bottom of the base. 6

Assurance of originality according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in 0that the bottom of the base, matching the draining bottom of the inner o container, falls from both longitudinal edges towards the longitudinal central axis of the bottom and/or from the rear edge of the bottom towards the front edge of the bottom. 00
8. Assurance of originality according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in \that the bottom of the base has a central trough, that falls from the rear edge Sof the bottom towards the front edge of the bottom.
09. Assurance of originality according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the bottom of the base has a tub shape.
Assurance of originality according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the bottom of the base is constructed as a flat bottom, corresponding to the bottom end of the inner container.
11. Assurance of originality according to any one of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the bottom of the base is made from sheet metal.
12. Assurance of originality according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the bottom of the base is made from plastic material.
13. Assurance of originality according to the generic part of claim 1, characterised by at least one indentation of the outer jacket or at least by one assurance element applied to it, that engage(s) a corresponding vertical groove of the wall of the inner container.
